Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I choose ACWM instead of going straight into an MBA?
An MBA is a broader management qualification. ACWM is a specialist career programme for candidates focused on Wealth Management, Financial Planning or BFSI, combining 240 hours of learning, AIMA immersion, joint certification, 20 Academic Credits and pathway-specific career support.
How is ACWM different from other train-and-deploy programmes?
ACWM starts with a specialist BFSI education base rather than short job training. ICOFP brings Financial Planning and finance education experience since 2002, AIMA adds immersive learning and academic recognition, and the career pathways connect learning with employment opportunities.
Why does the ICOFP legacy matter?
ICOFP has been building finance professionals since 2002, with a specialist focus on Financial Planning, investments, taxation, risk, retirement and client readiness. ACWM therefore starts from a BFSI-specialist learning base.
What does AIMA add to ACWM?
AIMA adds 50 hours of immersive campus learning through cases, simulations, assessments and expert-led sessions. Successful completion also leads to Joint ICOFP & AIMA Certification and 20 Academic Credits.
Which ACWM career pathway should I choose?
Both pathways use the same 240-hour learning foundation. The Bajaj Capital / BCIBL Pathway links eligible candidates to the internship and Wealth Officer opportunity, while the ICOFP-Led BFSI Pathway provides placement assistance across the wider BFSI sector.*
What do I get under the Bajaj Capital / BCIBL Pathway?
Eligible candidates complete the ACWM learning journey followed by a four-month paid internship with a fixed stipend of ₹15,000 per month*, leading to the applicable Wealth Officer career opportunity subject to pathway conditions.
Do I need prior finance knowledge to join?
Deep prior finance knowledge is not essential. ACWM is designed for graduates, final-year students and early-career candidates serious about finance and ready to meet its academic and professional expectations.
